Our newest addition to our Honeydove Capsule line is our new Mini Thermal Sleep Dress. SO exciting to welcome this piece. It has been a little while in the making. The idea started as a sleep romper and ultimately we arrived at a mini dress (the mini part just meaning an above the knee length.)
It is a knit cotton thermal that is so delicious and is considered a novelty fabric - meaning it was woven just for us by our partners in California. If you've tried regular thermal out from other brands - ours is SO much softer and light weight with a more cozy less structured feel to the fabric. I'm THRILLED with how these turned out. They are so cozy to sleep and lounge in while also an option to layer in the winter for going out!
The fabric is 100% organic thermal cotton. The creme has tiny natural specs in it (pretty and organic feel/look but very subtle!) Our colored pieces are limited and dyed with low impact and non-toxic dyes.
This is a knit cotton so when you first put it on it will be a little tight/fitted but it will stretch out to a more a line relaxed fit. I personally prefer it when it stretches out a bit and relaxes. Once you wash it, it will again shrink up a bit. However, the garment itself is pre-washed/pre-shrunk so it won't change in regards to true size or length.
You can wash this with your other clothes in no special manner - wash on cold or warm with eco-detergent and tumble dry!
Remember - the fabric stretches so if you are larger than the measurements you will be fine!! It will fit to meet your body!! I really recommend buying the size you normally go for since they are VERY true to size. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and my usual size SMALL is best for me to give you an idea of how much the hip/bust/dress can accommodate.

Great thermal piece for cooler weather fall to spring! Wear this dress, grab your coffee or hot cocoa and your slippers and you are ready for relaxing at home. Throw on some bottoms and you are ready for your errands. This dress is so soft and comfortable. I love the flared sleeve detail which gives this piece a little something extra and elevated. Perfect if you like a thermal set but sleep hot! The fabric is light but not see through and I have found that it keeps its shape with wear.
This is my third honey dove piece after reading rave reviews. I was disappointed in the quality to be honest. The neckline stretched out upon first wear before even washing and has since stayed stretched out after washing. I wish the quality of the piece reflected the price.
while I love my dreamier nightgowns, it is so lovely to have something warm and cozy but not dowdy for the colder nights. I have truly worn this to the limit since I bought it, and I am probably due soon for a new one !
Just received the thermal dress in Olive 30 minutes ago. I can’t wait to wear this when I visit across the country in the blue ridge for 3 weeks! I only feel confident in mini dress lengths with my shorter frame. I will definitely be ordering more this fall!! xxxxx
