Raw Silk Dreamer Dress

This is my live-in dress. I have one in deep sea, this dark green color almost escaping definition. The raw silk is this amazing fabric, and the natural dye is amazing. The nightgown cut has this homey, homemade, home-cooked quality to it that finds me constantly in this dress, a sweater or chore coat on top if need be. It is a dress for all seasons, all seasons of the year, all seasons of my life. So comfortable yet classy that yes, if I had to pick one right now, I would rest for all eternity in it all dressed up for heaven.

I am a solid high-density medium and it seems like with the drawstring on the neck this dress could fit anybody. I like having the waist tie to play with multiple silhouettes.

I had wanted a dreamer dress for quite some time and saved up the funds to buy one and have it costumed dyed by charlotte! I love the fit and versatility of this dress with the ties and ability to layer it to however I am feeling. When I received the dress I wore it for nearly three days straight and to bed. So comfortable! I love the raw silk material, that kept me cool in the heat and warm in the evenings! Thank you so much Honeydove!

I feel this dress is an under appreciated icon in the honeydove collection, I wear it day 2 night, with boots and a chore coat, with sandals and big jewelry, with nothing at all stumbling out of my garden like a fairy. I find it to be like being wrapped in your cool older sister’s XL vintage dress, it slouches perfectly. Im wearing a size L generally and I looove this fit.

I have this dress in two colors, and it’s so versatile! I love wearing with a chunky jumper or cardigan in fall/winter, belted or with a necklace in warmer weather, and as a luxe nightgown year round!

I am very pleased with my first dress purchase—the Dreamer Dress. On my six foot frame it is long and flowy…so many ruffles! So feminine! Thankful Charlotte is not stingy with the amount of fabric used but generous! Thank you kindly❤️
